I don't wanna grow up...

Hello blogging world! I've forgotten about you...but just wanted to let you all know that I am doing fantastic! I am back in Rexburg and I love it! I am living in American Manor again, however I moved into a newly-remodeled apartment...it's not as cool as my last split-level apartment, but it's nice and spacious.

I have three new roommates (still living with Amber and Ashley from the last two summers) and we are all getting along great so far. My bedroom roommate is Connie from Firth, Idaho so we get along pretty well (being Idaho girls and all). And the other two are Casey and Natalie, both from Washington.

I feel like an actual student this semester! I'm taking real classes...including:

Anatomy/Physiology (4 credits)
Program Management (3 credits)
Facility Management (3 credits)
Sports Conditioning (2 credits)
New Testament (2 credits)
Canyoneering (2 credits)--my ONE fun class...but it doesn't start until the second half of the semester

Also, I got a job on campus, working in the Recreation Management Department office as a student secretary. It's probably the easiest job on campus. I make copies when needed, answer the phone when it rings (like once a day), and answer questions when students come in (which is rare). So basically I get paid to do my homework and sit and look pretty.

More news! I joined a soccer team! Rec Sports (also known as intramural sports) starts this week...we have a game tonight! I'm pretty excited since I took a soccer class last semester and I actually have some skills instead of running around trying to kick the ball. (Imagine...a Hartley child who doesn't eat, sleep, and breathe soccer!)

So, I'm entering the real world...classes all morning, work in the afternoon, get home after 5:00, eat dinner, study, and try to fit in a workout or whatever other activities the day provides. I'm trying not to complain, but I will admit I've had it pretty darn easy for the last couple years. But it's time to be a big girl now.

I'm sure this is all really boring to all of you...but I'm at work and I'm bored...so it's wasting some time!
